NEWS FROM 2008	World Championships Juan Messina and Laurie von der Dornburg SchH3 do it again!!  This time they are going to compete at the FCI World Championship in Waver, Belgium Sept 11-14, 2008. Nina Loveza and Irus von der Dornburg SchH3 are competing at the WUSV World Championship in Florence, KY USA Oct 9-12 2008. NEWS FROM 2007	November 2007 Laurie von der Dornburg  earned her breed survey! October 2007 Juan Messina competes with young Laurie von der Dornburg at the 2007WUSV World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia.  Although they had some bad luck, they vow to return for 2008.  See you in the USA! Oct 6, 2007 T litter born Oct 3, 2007 S litter born July 2007 Juan does it again!  SchH2 title for Kurt and SchH2 and SchH3 for Laurie. NEWS FROM 2005	Nov 16, 2005 'P' Litter born Oct 1, 2005 'O' Litter born Aug 13, 2005 Congratulations to Hanz von der Dornburg for his participation and passing score in the LGA 10 in Otterbach, Germany. Mar 19, 2005 Jodi von der Dornburg received SG and Körklasse 2 from Her Wilfried Scheld at the Lone Star Schutzhund Club's Conformation Show and Körung.  Jodi did an outstanding job in the ring and I was really proud of her protection work which ended with a standing ovation to whistles and cheers. Daisy von den Tempelherren showed her stuff at the same event and got SG1 and went on the next day to get upgraded to Körklasse 1 for lifetime.
NEWS FROM 2004	Dec 25, 2004 Dundee vom Linsengericht became quite ill with a retrobulbar abscess.  He was a trooper and after a couple of surgeries, many antibiotics and months of recuperation, he is feeling like a puppy again.  The sight in his left eye could not be saved but he is doing just fine. Dec 13, 2004 Enjoy v. d. Staeduinhoeve IPO3  11-25-96 to 12-13-04 Friend and protector - there are no words to describe missing him. Dec 03, 2004 Hasso von der Dornburg and owner/handler Earl Ballard write that they are now training in Mondioring.  Cool!  Send pictures, Earl ! Nov 10, 2004 Joker von der Dornburg 03-09-02 to 11-10-04 Joker was struck and killed by a car. He will be greatly missed by his handler and family and by me. He was ready for his SchH1 and Breed Survey and had matured into a simply stunning young male. Nov 2, 2004 Half von der Dornburg 05-28-00 to 11-2-04 Half became suddenly ill and died hours later.  A victim of mushroom poisoning that caused hemorrhagic colitis.  His happy, warm personality will be remembered by me always. Oct 24, 2004 Congratulation to that busy team of Melissa McIntyre and Jaryn(aka Logan) von der Dornburg for earning their AKC CD title with a score of 192 only one half point out of the placings!  Good job! Oct 12, 2004 John Dubala and Ibo von der Dornburg continue to compete and John writes: I took Ibo to 4 events this month- Enid, OK. He earned a green ribbon and a white one for 4th place. Duncan, OK on Saturday he earned a green ribbon. On Sunday, he was a non qualifier. Tulsa, OK he earned a green ribbon and a yellow ribbon for 3rd place. John and Ibo are also training for his SchH1 - talk about versatile! Sep 25, 2004 Kati von der Kinzigau has earned the last leg on her AKC CD title with 189.5, winning the Novice B Challenge Trophy.  Great FIRST place news.  Congratulations to her owner/trainer/handler, Marjorie Remland !  Sep 18, 2004 Hanz von der Dornburg earns his SchH3 title in Germany.  Congratulations to Sam Galt and his buddy Hanz!  Hanz will be staying in Germany under Peter Wörsdörfer's tutelage to hopefully qualify for the LGA next year.  Best Wishes! Jul 12, 2004 Arno von der Dornburg 6-27-93 to 7-12-04 Arno was the biggest, happiest pup in my first litter.   For 11 years, Arno lived a great life with Lori Forney and her family in California.  He will be missed but never forgotten. Jul 10, 2004 The weekend of July 10 and 11 at Oklahoma City, John Dubala and Ibo von der Dornburg entered in 4 dog shows sponsored by the Indian Territory Australian Shepherd Club.  He passed all 4 shows and won 4 green ribbons and 2 red ribbons for 2nd place.  Congrats John and Ibo! Jun 25, 2004 Congratulations goes to owner/handler/trainer Marguerite Matter and Girl (aka Griff) von der Dornburg !  Marguerite became a certified handler through the American Society of Canine Trainers and 'Griff' became a certified narcotic detector dog.  Wow! Jun 19, 2004 Jaryn(aka Logan) von der Dornburg took High in Trial today at the Minneapolis/St. Paul GSD specialty with a score of 194.5 on his 2nd leg!!! and that was with distracted heeling.  Keep up the good work Melissa! Jun 05, 2004 Jaryn(aka Logan) von der Dornburg got OB1 at the 2004 HOT Tournament.  And the team got the Good Sportsmanship Award!  Way to go 'Logan' and Melissa !!!! Feb 21, 2004 Chuna Policia SVVI velmi dobrý  6-17-1993 to 2-21-2004 Chuna came to live here for about a year before being retired with Chris Estadt in Ohio.  She lived a wonderful life with Chris and I am very grateful that she had the chance at a cushy retirement.   Chris writes: "Just wanted to let you know that Chuna passed away this past weekend.  She died of a heart attack during the night.  I am very upset and  will miss her greatly.  She was an awesome dog.  For the first six months she slept in my bed- it took awhile to get used to her snoring- then it became to difficult for her to jump that high.  She got lots of attention.  When I worked out, between sets she would come over for hugs and pets... she was the most gentle and loving dog I have ever known." Dec 13, 2003 Hogan von der Dornburg 'Hans' and owner Jason Hanley earned the IPO 3 title today and received another high in trial trophy. 94-86-86  Handler/Owner/Trained! Nov 22, 2003 Jodi von der Dornburg earned her SchH1 under Herr Horst Knabe SV-Ortsgruppe Karlsruhe –West in Germany.  Many thanks to Werner Schneck who trained this 'gangsterlady' for me ! Oct 12, 2003 Congratulations Hanz von der Dornburg and owner/handler Sam Galt for a truly excellent SchH1 !  High Schutzhund I,High in Protection.  Hanz is also H.O.T. (Handler/Owner Trained).  Keep up the good work.  Hanz has also recently sired a great litter of puppies making Dundee a grandfather again. NEWS FROM 2001	*Gitte von der Adelegg SchH3 FH 5-21-1992 to 9-14-2001 My dear Gitte has passed away.  She lived the last part of her life with Manuela Gerlach in Germany.  She and Manuela were inseparable and were the best of friends.  Gitte lived a good life and was the best working female I have ever had the privilege to be owned by.  I will miss her but not as much as her best friend, Manuela.  My sincere gratitude to Manuela Gerlach for giving Gitte the best retirement a dog could ever hope for.   Gitte's corner of the couch will never be warmed by any soul as great or noble.
